Close and See Tickets join forces during Europe's largest e-sports festival
Amsterdam, February 28, 2022 – Close, the interactive communication platform for the event industry, and See Tickets, the ticketing expert, have teamed up to offer visitors to the GG DreamHack Sports event (GG22) the best digital customer experience. Thanks to the API link between Close and See Tickets, visitors can find all event information in the Close app after purchasing their ticket. With relevant content and messages, engagement before, during and after the event is increased. Think of practical information, such as where competition takes place, but also lots of entertainment, such as live competition results and time slots for demos.
Kiliaan Toorenaar, co-founder of Close: “The collaboration with a party like See Tickets is of great value. It ensures that we can streamline all-round communication for both the visitor and the organisation of the event. With this sports gaming festival, GG22 takes the experience to a level never seen before, and we are pleased that we can contribute to this in collaboration with See Tickets.”
Marijke van den Bosch, CEO of See Tickets Benelux: “Close and See Tickets both have the optimisation and personalisation of the customer journey for ticket buyers high on their agenda. The collaboration with Close enables our customers to communicate directly with their fans, also through this channel. In addition to anticipating the event, this increases engagement and thus strengthens the relationship between the organisation and their fans. Through relevant communication at the right time, we also see a significant increase in the sale of 'add-ons' such as lockers, drink tokens and merchandise. In many cases, this results in up to 30% more turnover for the organisation and a complete, personal offer to the fan.”
About GG22During the Pentecost weekend of 4 and 5 June 2022, gaming and sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves during the largest sports gaming festival in Europe, organised by Eredivisie CV, DreamHack Sports Games and MECC Maastricht. Brenda Munsterman, Product Manager at MECC Maastricht, explains: “Together with GG22, we are creating a new concept in which the combination of online and live sports presents a special challenge. It is important that we are in constant contact with our visitors. To give them the best experience, we need to provide them with both information and triggering content.
